Terms and Conditions of Use
These terms govern the use of LiveLov during its testing phase (closed beta). By checking the acceptance box and continuing, you confirm that you have read them and agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use LiveLov.
- LiveLov is in testing and may have errors or changes.
- We calculate compatibility, but we cannot guarantee attraction or a relationship.
- You must be over 18 and provide truthful information.
- We do not verify people's identity. Be careful when meeting someone.
- You can stop using LiveLov and ask us to delete your data whenever you want.
1. Who provides LiveLov
LiveLov is provided by the LiveLov founding team (hereinafter "LiveLov" or "we"). For any question about these terms, write directly to the person who invited you to try LiveLov.
2. What LiveLov is and what it is not
LiveLov is a platform that calculates how compatible two people are based on the answers to a questionnaire. The calculation is done with defined rules and weights, not with an artificial intelligence model deciding on its own.
The compatibility we show you is an estimate based on what you and the other person answered. It does not guarantee attraction, chemistry, or that a relationship will work. LiveLov does not offer psychological, medical or legal advice, and does not replace your own judgment.
3. Beta phase
- LiveLov is a test. It may have errors, interruptions or changes, and test data could be lost or deleted.
- For now, use is free. If paid plans exist in the future, we will tell you beforehand and you will not be charged anything without your express, separate acceptance.
- We may use the feedback you give us about the beta to improve the product, without any compensation to you.
4. Requirements to use LiveLov
- Be 18 years old or older and have the legal capacity to accept these terms.
- Use your own email and have a single account.
- Provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information about yourself.
5. How you agree to use LiveLov
You agree not to:
- Impersonate another person or use photos or data that are not yours.
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against or bother other people.
- Upload photos of minors, nudity, or sexually explicit, violent or illegal content.
- Use LiveLov for commercial purposes, advertising, scams or to obtain money from other people.
- Copy, automatically extract or spread information about other people or the system.
- Try to access other people's accounts, the administration panel or parts of the system that are not yours.
6. Your content and your photos
You remain the owner of your answers and your photos. You declare that you have the right to upload them and that you are the person who appears in them.
You give us a limited, free and non-exclusive permission to store, process and display that content within LiveLov, only to operate the service and according to what you chose to make visible in your privacy settings. That permission ends when you ask us to delete your data. We do not sell your content.
7. Privacy and personal data
The handling of your personal data is explained in our Privacy Notice, which is part of these terms. There we also explain how to exercise your rights.
8. Meeting other people: your safety
- In this beta phase we do not verify people's identity or check backgrounds. We cannot ensure that each person is who they say they are.
- If you decide to meet someone, do it with caution: meet in a public place, tell a trusted person and do not share bank details, passwords or money.
- Your Instagram and contact details are only shared when both people show mutual interest and have authorized it.
- If someone behaves inappropriately, let us know and we will review the case.
LiveLov is not part of the conversations or meetings between users and does not control their conduct.
9. Information about other people
What you see about other people (answers, photos, contact details) is so you can decide whether you want to meet them. You may not use it for any other purpose, publish it, share it with third parties or contact someone by another means if that person did not show mutual interest in you.
10. Intellectual property
The name, design, questionnaire, algorithm and texts of LiveLov belong to us. You may not copy them, sell them or try to reproduce the system.
11. No warranties
LiveLov is offered "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors, or that you will find a match.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by the laws of Costa Rica, LiveLov will not be liable for indirect damages, for the conduct of other users, or for decisions you make based on the results. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Suspension and account closure
We may suspend or delete an account if these terms are breached or for security reasons. You may stop using LiveLov and ask us to delete your account and your data at any time.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When there are important changes, we will ask you to accept them again the next time you sign in. The update date appears at the top of this page.
15. Governing law and questions
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Before turning to any formal procedure, we will try to solve any problem together in a friendly way. For questions or complaints, write directly to the person who invited you to try LiveLov.
